I believe thermal cameras, microphones, and K2 meters have all captured ghostly "evidence". All these devices utilize and rely upon the electromagnetic spectrum. By "knowing" what part of the spectrum paranormal activity occurs, and what part of the spectrum your equipment operates, you can gather valuable information.
"Electromagnetic Spectrum" is the stuff physicists write their doctoral thesis on. Fortunately for our purposes, it doesn't need to be complicated....honestly...no equations, no calculations needed. We routinely manipulate the electromagnetic spectrum with our gadgets, cellphones, and computers.
Thermal cameras, microphones, and K2 meters are all "passive" devices. They "look" and "listen." "Active" EM manipulation can usually be done rather easily and inexpensively, which is the theme of the book.
Keep in mind, this approach looks from the "evidence" toward the "source". This approach may be self limiting.
